Subject choice occurs in the grade 9 year for implementation in grade 10. This process may be anxiety provoking, and invoke insecurity for many learners who are just settling into the high school experience. This decision may be just as anxiety provoking for parents as it is for the grade 9 learner. Similar to the career assessment process, a holistic approach is taken for a comprehensive subject choice assessment and we will explore your cognitive skills, personality and interests.

All assessments completed include an intake interview prior to the assessment day. The focus of this is to build rapport, gain important and relevant collateral information which may help guide the assessment process and alleviate any anxiety. The feedback session is geared towards a collaborative discussion with parents and adolescents. A comprehensive report accompanies the whole assessment process.
