ASD and ADHD Social Group for Tweens: Lego Legends

ASD and ADHD Social Group for Tweens: Lego Legends I have a special interest in supporting families of children with ADHD and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). I have come to realise that many children I work with have amazing talents and special interests. One of the main special interests is linked to Lego and construction. I am amazed by my clients’ skills, finesse and passion with their creations. I often suggest to parents that they look for their child’s “TRIBE”. However, I have also realised that there are limited resources and social groups for our Lego Legends… Therefore, I started a social group for tweens (8-13) who have ADHD/ASD and a special interest in Lego.

The Lego Legends group is small (4-8 tweens). They will be provided an opportunity to discuss their creations, ask others about theirs and socialise. These short/structured sessions will not only provide the opportunity to connect with their “TRIBE”, but further develop social skills.

The cost will be R50 per 40 minute session. Please email jess@jcep.co.za if you are interested in booking a spot for your child. I am excited to share this new opportunity with you and your Lego Legend. Please share with anyone who you feel may suit our TRIBE.
